Denmark ’s gross domestic product will expand at a faster pace than previously expected due to strong sales from the country’s pharmaceutical industry, which is dominated by Novo Nordisk A/S , the economy ministry said.
GDP will rise 2.7% this year, with 1 percentage point coming from drug makers, the Copenhagen-based ministry said in a release on Saturday. In its previous forecast from December, it predicted growth of 2.2%.
