The updated store includes expanded product selections and enhanced pickup and delivery services designed to improve both in-store and online shopping experiences. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration are scheduled for Friday. Store upgrades include expanded departments, faster delivery Walmart said the renovations include: Expanded selections in fashion, baby, home and pet departments, along with interactive displays and updated store layouts Upgraded pharmacy and vision center areas focused on privacy, accessibility and convenience, including private screening capabilities, improved consultation and checkout areas, and a wider selection of affordable eyewear Expanded online pickup and delivery options, including curbside pickup, delivery within three hours and express delivery in as little as 30 minutes The more than 130,000-square-foot store first opened in 1994. Part of broader Walmart modernization effort The Mohegan Lake upgrades are part of a larger modernization effort across New York state. Walmart said it plans to update 23 stores statewide this year.
