WALMART has massively expanded its ultra-fast delivery service as it races to battle rival Amazon.
The retail giant is introducing the flash delivery in 33 more major cities across the US.

The speedy service allows shoppers to order groceries, household essentials, health products and last-minute items directly through Walmart’s app and website.
Customers can choose from more than 100,000 eligible products, including baby items, pantry staples, electronics and even prescription deliveries.
The retailer said it completed “millions of deliveries” in 30 minutes or less during the first quarter of the year across more than 19,000 ZIP codes nationwide.
Tracy Poulliot, chief eCommerce officer for Walmart U.S., said: “We’ve been delivering orders in 30 minutes or less for more than a year, and today 26% of our Express Deliveries are already arriving in that timeframe.”
The ultra-fast service originally launched in just seven cities – Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Oklahoma City, Tampa and Salt Lake City.
It has now expanded to 33 cities, with Walmart confirming more locations are expected to follow.
Customers living in eligible areas will see a “Delivery in 30 minutes or less” option appear on the Walmart website or app.
Walmart says the expansion is designed to help customers who need emergency top-up shops or forgotten essentials without making a trip to the store.

The rapid delivery service costs Walmart+ members an additional $10 fee, although shoppers can also choose from one-hour express delivery, on-demand delivery within three hours or scheduled time slots.
